Resolution consents to the possession and consumption of beer and wine on City property during a client appreciation event at Rosenblatt Stadium on Tuesday, May 12, 2009, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. The event is being held by the law firm of Cline Williams, Wright, Johnson, & Oldfather, LLP. Admission to the event will be free and by invitation only, not open to the public. Alcohol will not be sold during this reception and no special designated liquor license is necessary. However, because the event will be held on public property other than a park, it is necessary that the City Council expressly consent to possession and consumption of alcohol on the property.
