Transmitted herewith is a Resolution establishing the speed limits on sections of streets in the
City of Omaha. Listed below are the sections of streets that the Public Works Department
recommends should have the speed limits changed and/or established:
192"a Street from West Dodge Road to 2400 North. The current speed limit for this section of
road is 45mph. It is recommended that the speed limit be set at 45mph. Sections of this road
were recently annexed into the City Limits.
Honeysuckle Drive from 192na Street to 204th Street. The current speed limit for this section of
road is 35mph. It is recommended that the speed limit be set at 35mph. Sections of this road
were recently annexed into the City Limits.
These speed limits shall be the official speed limits for the City of Omaha as authorized by
Section 36-123 as amended by Ordinance No. 30764 passed August 20, 1985, and effective
September 5, 1985.
The Public Works Department recommends your consideration and approval of the attached
resolution.

Agreement effective upon execution of this Amendment by both parties.
A. Exhibit I-2017, Jan.6, 2017 Current La Vista Wastewater Service Area and Connection Points
B. Exhibit D-2008 Sample Form of Summary Report Sheet
8. With respect to references in the Wastewater Service Agreement to a particular exhibit that is superseded by
a new exhibit pursuant to this Amendment, said references shall be deemed modified to refer to the new
exhibit.
9. Other than the amendments stated herein, all of the provisions of the Wastewater Service Agreement, as
amended to date, shall remain in full force and effect.

5. Article 5 of the 2009"Agreement for Wastewater Service between City of Omaha, Nebraska and City of La
Vista, Nebraska" shall be superseded and replaced by the following:
aborate to create a listing of accounts within the LAVISTA wastewater
service area designated on Exhibit E-2011 paying retail OMAHA sewer use fees but
outside of the wastewater service area designated on Exhibit A-2008. OMAHA and
LAVISTA will jointly authorize MUD to use this listing of accounts to change MUD account
coding such that the direct retail sewer billing rights and responsibilities for each account
will transfer from OMAHA to LAVISTA effective with MUD water billings issued in January
2011.

RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF OMAHA: ."
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 30764 to amend Section 36-123 ofthe Omaha Municipal
Code was approved by the City Council on August 20, 1985; and,
WHEREAS, said amendment provides that the City Traffic Engineer is authorized to
establish speed limits of a greater or lesser rate of speed than twenty-five(25)miles per hour for any
and all streets within the City of Omaha; and,
WHEREAS,official speed limits for the City of Omaha must be adopted by Resolution
of the City Council of the City of Omaha; and,
WHEREAS,the Public Works Department has recommended that the following speed
limits be changed and/or established.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF OMAHA:
THAT, the speed limits be changed and/or established as follows:
