2009,and to adopt the attached Resolution confirming the reappointment of Christopher Flud as the
journeyman sign erector member of the Sign Examining Board, to serve a term commencing on
March 13, 2009 and continuing through March 12, 2013.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF OMAHA:
THAT, as recommended by the Mayor,the purchase of 12 (twelve) iVent 201 ventilators
with components from Tri-Anim Health Services for the Omaha Metropolitan Medical Response System
(OMMRS) used to enhance response to any mass effect event, in the amount of$114,480.00 is hereby
approved; and that the Finance Department is authorized to fund said purchase from FY2009 Federal
Department of Health and Human Services Assistant Secretary for Preparedness and Response (ASPR)
Grant, grant award # U3REP080088-01-00, grant period January 1, 2009 to September 30, 2009, Fund
12168,Organization 130757.

RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF OMAHA:
WHEREAS, Section 51-12 of the Omaha Municipal Code provides for the
appointment to the Sign Examining Board; and,
WHEREAS,Resolution No. 202,adopted March 3,2009,reappointing Christopher
Flud to the above Board for a term that will expire on March 12, 2012 is hereby rescinded; and,
WHEREAS, Christopher Flud was appointed to the above Board for a term that
expired on March 12, 2009; and,
WHEREAS,Mayor Mike Fahey has reappointed Christopher Flud to a four-year term
as the journeyman sign erector member of the Sign Examining Board, said term to commence on
March 13, 2009 and continue through March 12, 2013.
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF OMAHA:
THAT, Resolution No. 202, adopted March, 3, 2009, is hereby rescinded and the
reappointment of Christopher Flud as the journeyman sign erector member of the Sign Examining
Board,to serve a term commencing on March 13,2009 and continuing through March 12,2013,is
hereby confirmed.
