Agent to issue a Purchase Order to Dostals Construction Co., Inc. to furnish all labor, materials
and equipment necessary for the renovation of Bedford Place Park, located at 2812 Pinkney •
Streets, Omaha,Nebraska,to include but not be limited to the demolition and removal of existing
walkways, construction of a playground, site furnishings, concrete walk, drainage, grading, and
seeding for the Parks, Recreation and Public Property Department.

RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF OMAHA:
WHEREAS, bids were received on July 21, 2009, to furnish all labor, materials,
and equipment necessary for the renovation of Bedford Place Park, located at 2812 Pinkney,
Omaha, Nebraska, to include but not be limited to the demolition and removal of existing
walkways, construction of a playground, site furnishings, concrete walk, drainage, grading , and
seeding for the Parks,Recreation and Public Property Department; and,
WHEREAS, Dostals Construction Co., Inc. submitted the lowest and best bid,
within bid specifications, attached hereto and made a part hereof, in the total amount of
$60,900.00; and,
WHEREAS, Dostals Construction Co., Inc., has complied with the City's Contract
Compliance Ordinance No. 28885 in relation to Civil Rights -Human Relations; and,
WHEREAS, the Mayor has recommended acceptance of this bid.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF OMAHA:
THAT, as recommended by the Mayor, the bid in the total amount of$60,900.00
from Dostals Construction Co., Inc. to furnish all labor, materials, and equipment necessary for
the renovation of Bedford Place Park located at 2812 Pinkney, Omaha, Nebraska, the demolition
and removal of existing walkways, construction of a playground, site furnishings, concrete walk,
drainage, grading , and seeding is hereby accepted and the Purchasing Agent is authorized to
issue a purchase order in conformance herewith. Funds in this amount shall be paid from the
2006 Parks & Recreation Bond Fund No. 13354, Organization No. 117313, Recreation and
Culture Bond, and Activity/Project No. 2527.
