The following bids were received on September 23, 2009. A detailed bid tabulation is attached. Contractor Total Bid McKINNIS ROOFING& SHEET METAL $ 71,606.00 (LOW BID) R.L. Craft Co. $ 89,000.00 Weathercraft Enterprises, Inc. $ 99,800.00 Scott Enterprises, Inc. $103,932.00 Boone Brothers Roofing $110,000.00 Carberry Construction $239,960.00 The contractor has on file a current Contract Compliance Report Form (CC-1). As is City policy, the Human Rights and Relations Department will review the contractor to ensure compliance with the Contract Compliance Ordinance. The Finance Department is authorized to pay the cost of OPW 51806 from the 2006 Public Facilities Bond Fund 13244, 2009 Issue Public Facility Bonds Organization 117514, year 2009 expenditures. The Public Works Department recommends the acceptance of the bid from McKinnis Roofing & Sheet Metal in the amount of$71,606.00, being the lowest and best bid received, and requests your consideration and approval of this resolution.
