The attached Resolution approves the contract with All Purpose Utilities for OPW 51608, being
Papillion Creek Wastewater Treatment Facility Primary Clarifier Mechanism Replacement.
The following bids were received on September 23, 2009. A detailed bid tabulation is attached.
Contractor Total Bid
ALL PURPOSE UTILITIES $635,950.00 (LOW BID)
Oakview Construction $646,000.00
Hawkins Construction $713,000.00
Judds Brothers Construction $722,800.00
Eriksen. Construction $770,000.00
Weitz Industrial $942,000.00
The contractor has on file a current Contract Compliance Report. Form (CC-1). As is City
policy, the Human Rights and Relations Department will review the contractor to ensure
compliance with the Contract Compliance Ordinance.
The Finance Department is authorized to pay the cost of OPW 51608 from the Sewer Revenue
Improvements Fund 21124, Capital Asset Replacement Program 116913, year 2009
expenditures.
The Public Works Department recommends the acceptance of the bid from All Purpose Utilities
in the amount of $635,950.00, being the lowest and best bid received, and requests your
consideration and approval of this Resolution.
