NOTICE
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a meeting of the Board of Trustees
of Sanitary and Improvement District No. 514 of Douglas County, Nebraska
will be held at 12:00 P.M. on October 20, 2020 at 11440 West Center Road, Omaha,
Nebraska, which meeting will be open to the public. The agenda for such
meeting, kept continuously current, is available for public inspection at
11440 West Center Road, Omaha, Nebraska and includes the payment of bills of
the District and the consideration and passing or amending and passing the
following Resolutions, to-wit:
RESOLUTION 'A'
BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Trustees of Sanitary and Improvement District No. 514
of Douglas County, Nebraska find and determine that it is advisable and necessary
to construct an improvement within the boundaries of the District, said improvements to be
designated as 2021 Street Reconstruction and shall be constructed as follows:
2020 STREET RECONSTRUCTION
The work to be performed in this improvement shall consist of the removal and replacement of
concrete pavement on District streets, remove and replace ADA curb ramps, necessary
appurtenances and other work that is incidental and necessary for a completed improvement.
A. Construct a system of roads and streets and related work located as follows:
1. Polk Street from existing S 189th Street; thence westerly to cul-de-sac.
2. Hayes Circle from existing S 189th Street; thence westerly to cul-de-sac.
3. Drexel Circle from existing S 189th Street; thence westerly to cul-de-sac.
4. Drexel Circle from existing S 191st Street; thence easterly to cul-de-sac.
5. Drexel Street from existing S 191st Street; thence westerly to S 191st Avenue.
6. Drexel Circle from existing S 191st Avenue; thence westerly to cul-de-sac.
7. Adams Street from existing 192 Street; thence easterly to Drexel Street.
8. Cinnamon Street from existing S 190th Street; thence easterly and northerly to S 187th
Street.
9. Y Street from existing 192nd Street; thence easterly to S 185th Avenue.
10. Z Street from existing S 190th Terrace; thence easterly to S 189th
11. Polk Street from existing S 188th Avenue; thence easterly to S 185th Avenue.
12. Hayes Circle from existing S 187th Avenue; thence easterly to cul-de-sac.
13. Drexel Street from existing Adams Street; thence easterly to eastern border.
14. Birchwood Avenue from existing S 189th Street; thence southerly and easterly to S
187th Street.
15. Washington Street from existing S 189th Street; thence easterly to S 187th Street.
16. Jefferson Street from existing S 186th Avenue; thence easterly to east border.
17. South 191st Avenue from existing Polk Street; thence northerly to Drexel Street.
18. South 191st Street from existing Polk Street; thence northerly to Y Street.
19. South 189th Street from existing Harrison Street; thence northerly to Y Street.
20. South 191st Terrace from existing Adams Street; thence northerly to northern border.
21. South 190th Terrace from existing Adams Street; thence northerly to northern border.
22. South 189th Avenue from existing Cinnamon Street; thence northerly to Y Street.
23. South 188th Avenue from existing Polk Street; thence northerly to Drexel Street.
24. South 188th Street from existing Polk Street; thence northerly to Drexel Street.
25. South 187th Avenue from existing Polk Street; thence northerly to Drexel Street.
26. South 187th Street from existing Drexel Street; thence northerly to Y Street.
27. South 188th Street from existing Cinnamon Street; thence northerly to Y Street.
28. South 186th Avenue from existing S 187th Street; thence northerly to northern border.
29. South 187th Avenue Circle from existing Y Street; thence northerly to cul-de-sac.

All of the improvements are to be located in dedicated public right of way or dedicated public
easements.
The outer boundaries of the area which may be subject to special assessment are for said
improvement, are proposed to be the same as the outer boundaries of SID #514.
Said plans and specifications have been reviewed by E & A Consulting Group, engineers for the
District and said engineers have filed with the Clerk of the District, prior to the first publication of
this Resolution, an estimate of the total costs of said improvement, including engineering fees, legal
fees, fiscal fees, interest and other miscellaneous costs, which estimate is in the sum of $179,000.00.
To pay the cost of said improvement the Board of Trustees shall have the power to issue negotiable
bonds of the District after such improvements have been completed and accepted; said bonds to be
called "Sanitary and Improvement District Bonds" and shall be payable and bear interest as
provided by the Statutes of the State of Nebraska.
The Board of Trustees shall assess to the extent of special benefits, the cost of such improvements
upon properties specially benefitted thereby. All special assessments which may be levied upon the
properties specially benefitted by such improvements shall, when collected, be set aside and
constitute a sinking fund for the payment of interest and principal of said bonds. The District shall
also cause to be levied annually a tax upon the assessed value of all of the taxable property in the
District except intangible property, which together with said sinking fund derived from special
assessments shall be sufficient to meet payment of the interest and principal of said bonds as the
same become due; said tax shall be known as the Sanitary and Improvement District Tax and shall
be payable annually in money.
If a petition opposing this Resolution, signed by property owners representing a majority of the front
footage which may become subject to assessment for the cost of the improvements as set forth
herein, is filed with the Clerk of the District within three (3) days before the date of the hearing on
this Resolution, this Resolution shall not be passed.
