The attached Resolution authorizes Sanitary and Improvement District No. 405 (S&ID), Deer
Creek, located northwest of 120th Street and.Military Road, to make public park improvements in
the amount of$44,823.76. Improvements will include a swing structure,spring riders and stairs
to the existing playground area.
On September 13, 2010, the Parks and Recreation Advisory Board approved $44,823.76 for
these park improvements. All costs are a 100% general fund obligation of the S&ID.
The Parks, Recreation and Public Property Department requests your consideration and approval
of the attached Resolution.

WHEREAS, Sanitary and Improvement District No. 405 (S&ID), Deer Creek, is
located northwest of 120th Street and Military Road; and, ' -'
WHEREAS, this S&ID is now requesting approval of the costs for public park
improvements to include a swing structure, rock climber, spring riders and stairs to the existing
playground area; and,
WHEREAS, on September 13, 2010 the Parks and Recreation Advisory Board
approved$44,823.76, including soft costs, for these improvements; and,
WHEREAS,the Parks,Recreation and Public Property Department recommends that
these improvements be approved; and,
WHEREAS,the Mayor has recommended acceptance of these improvements.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF OMAHA:
THAT, as recommended by the Mayor, costs in the amount of$44,823.76, including
soft costs, for a swing structure, rock climber, spring riders and stairs to the existing playground
area in S&ID No. 405, Deer Creek, located northwest of 120th Street and Military Road, are hereby
approved.
FURTHER THAT, these costs incurred by S&1D No. 405 to make these
