Attached is a request of Mercer Management Company for permission to install a wrought iron
fence for an outdoor dining area located at 1008 Howard Street.
This request has been reviewed by the Planning and Public Works Departments and their
recommendations are as follows:
The City Planning Department and Public Works Department do recommend approval of the
request.
A plot plan showing the location of the proposed outdoor dining area is attached.

WHEREAS, Mercer Management Company has applied for a lease of City property
adjacent to 1008 Howard Street,Omaha,Nebraska for purposes of an outdoor eating or drinking area
and fence, as described on the attached application; and,
WHEREAS, the application of Mercer Management Company has been examined
and approved by the City Planning and Public Works Departments, and otherwise found to be in
compliance with all City regulations.
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF OMAHA:
THAT, the application Mercer Management Company for a lease of City property
adjacent to 1008 Howard Street,Omaha,Nebraska for purposes of an outdoor eating or drinking area

any transaction or occurrences shall not be deemed a waiver as to any future transaction or occurrences. By accepting payment of
