Attached is a Resolution approving the purchase of an IBM p720 processor with prepaid maintenance
and the attendant hardware and software from Sirius Computer Solutions,Inc.for the total amount of
$71,480.93. All funding for this Agreement will be provided through the issuance of Lease Purchase
Bonds. Those bonds will be satisfied jointly by the City of Omaha and Douglas County. .
The City Council approved a Technology Use Agreement by Resolution No. 1455 on December 7,
2010. That Technology Use Agreement contemplated that the City would request the issuance of Lease
Purchase Bonds by the City of Omaha's Public Facility Corporation to allow for purchasing equipment,
hardware, and the professional services necessary to implement seven Capital Projects. That
Agreement requires that DOT.Comm submit to the City for approval copies of any and all contracts it
intends to execute in furtherance of the completion of the Capital Projects. Funding for this contract
will be provided by the City Capital Improvement Fund, Fund 13112, Organization 131555.
The Finance Department requests your consideration and recommends approval of this Resolution.

Sirius services were provided to assess customer requirements and assist in defining the solution being proposed.
Until Sirius receives and accepts a Purchase Order or this Purchase Authorization for the solution proposed,pricing provided in this
Proposal is subject to change based on manufacturer's pricing schedule. All of the information provided in this Proposal is considered
confidential and proprietary between Sirius and DOT.comm.Information enclosed in this Proposal may not be disclosed,disseminated,or
otherwise revealed to any party outside of DOT.comm or any party within DOT.comm who is not privileged to receive such information.
Early Termination: Pursuant to Section 7 of the IBM Master Services Attachment for ServiceElite,DOT.comm may terminate Services for
an eligible machine upon written notice to Sirius and/or IBM if the eligible machine is removed from productive use. Otherwise,if after the
Services have been under contract for at least one year,DOT.comm chooses to terminate the Services and these are not being replaced
by equivalent Services,DOT.comm may do so by providing IBM one month's written notice.DOT.comm may be required to pay an
adjustment fee in accordance with the schedule for penalties set forth by the IBM Master Services Attachment for ServiceElite section 7.
Services charges may be adjusted whenever:(1)a review of the inventory count indicates a change from the last accounting;or(2)a

RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF OMAHA:
WHEREAS, the Douglas Omaha Technology Commission (DOT;Comm) was
established through an Interlocal agreement between the City of Omaha and Douglas County for the
purposes of providing technology services; and,
WHEREAS, DOT.Comm identified seven (7) specific Capital Projects which it
believed needed to be completed as soon as possible to ensure continuing viability of the computer
network; and,
WHEREAS, City, County and DOT.Comm entered into a Technology Use
Agreement which was approved by Resolution No. 1455 on December 7, 2010; and,
WHEREAS, the terms of the Technology Use Agreement contemplate that
DOT.Comm submit to the City for approval copies of all contracts that it intends to execute in
furtherance of completion of the Capital Improvement Projects; and,
WHEREAS,DOT.Comm has submitted the attached contract approving the purchase
of an IBM p720 processor-with prepaid maintenance and the attendant hardware and software from
Sirius Computer Solutions, Inc. for approval; and,
WHEREAS,funding for this contract/equipment will be provided by the issuance of
lease purchase bonds.
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF OMAHA:
THAT,the attached contract approving the purchase of an IBM p720 processor with
prepaid maintenance and the attendant hardware and software from Sirius Computer Solutions,Inc.
for the amount of$71,480.93 is hereby approved as is contemplated by paragraph 5(b) of the
Technology Use Agreement between the City of Omaha, Douglas County and DOT.Comm which
