As our Nation's World War II, Korean War, and Vietnam War veterans pass on,the Veterans of Foreign Wars is experiencing a nationwide decline in membership that Post 2503 is unfortunately not immune from. To that end, Post leadership has decided to expand our classic car shows and to host other events such as family picnics, horseshoe tournaments, and entertainment. It would also allow those who use our facility to take alcohol outside to designated smoking areas in Area 'A'. We are also defining the rental of Area 'A' in conjunction with our room rental activities. All of these events are aimed at recruiting, retention and fundraising to ensure the economic viability of Post 2503. When approved,our license would permit members of the Post,customers and visitors during fundraising activities to take their food and drinks outside to the completely fenced in Area 'A '. All of these events would occur on our premises within the boundaries of Area 'A' (Attachment 2)and the north area of our parking lot,Area 'B', (Attachment 2). Whenever we conduct our classic car shows, we would like to sell alcohol (beer)and food to participants and visitors to the show in Area 'B'.
