The Resolution attached hereto approves the dedication of March 13, 2012, as the day that the
Omaha City Councilmembers will ride the METRO bus to work for the March 13, 2012 Council
meeting.
The.METRO bus system offers a public transportation system that is a critical link to jobs,
economical expansion and quality of life in our community.-.Riding the bus also saves money
with rising gas prices and wear and tear on personal vehicles, while reducing the traffic
congestion and preventing air pollution.
Your favorable consideration of this Resolution is respectfully requested. The Law Department
believes passage of this Resolution to be in the best interest of the City of Omaha.

dredging of the N. P. Dodge Park Marina, located at 11001 John J. Pershing Drive, and the
Riverfront Marina, located at 601 Riverfront Drive, as the lowest and best bid received within
bid specifications, attached hereto and made a part hereof, is hereby accepted. The work is to
include but not limited to dredging of the sediment within the marinas.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Purchasing Agent is authorized to issue a purchase
order in conformance herewith. Funds in the amount of$53,890.00 shall be paid from Marinas
Fund No. 21111 and Organization No. 115541, N. P. Dodge Marina, and funds in the amount of
$100,100.00 shall be paid from the Marinas Fund No. 21111 and Organization No. 115546,
Riverfront Marina.
