The.METRO bus system offers a public transportation system that is a critical link to jobs, economical expansion and quality of life in our community.-.Riding the bus also saves money with rising gas prices and wear and tear on personal vehicles, while reducing the traffic congestion and preventing air pollution. Your favorable consideration of this Resolution is respectfully requested. The Law Department believes passage of this Resolution to be in the best interest of the City of Omaha.
