Jim Suttle,Mayor Honorable President and Members of the City Council, Attached for your consideration is a Resolution reappointing Joseph Bateman to the Downtown Business Improvement Area Board. The Statute provides that five or more board members serve on the board and that the members of the Business Improvement Board shall consist of property owners, residents, business operators, or users of space within the business area to be improved. Mr. Bateman, currently serves on the Downtown Business Improvement Board and meets the qualifications. Mr. Bateman is being reappointed to serve for a term of five years, to take effect October 2, 2012 with a term to expire on October 1, 2017.
