Jim Suttle,Mayor Public Works Director Honorable President and Members of the City Council, Transmitted herewith is a proposed Ordinance to convey the following property to the adjoining property owners: The north 12 1/2 feet of the south 25 feet of Dodge Street at 68th Avenue, formerly being the south 25 feet of Lot 1, Sunset Terrace Addition and the south 25 feet of Lot 31, Sunset Terrace Addition. The purpose of Vacating Ordinance 36354, passed on August 5th, 2003 and Vacating Ordinance 36710, passed July 27, 2004, which were approved by the City Council, was to allow for consolidation of the vacated right-of-way with the adjoining property. However, the property was vacated only providing the adjoining property owners with 12 '/2 feet and not the full and intended 25 feet. The attached deed will allow consolidation of the vacated right-of-way with the only adjoining properties as was intended by Vacating Ordinance 36354 and Vacating Ordinance 36710.
