agenda of June 25, 2013, that appoints the following Councilmembers to indefinite terms on
the Street Vacation Committee:

RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF OMAHA: ,.
WHEREAS, Section 14-375,R.R.S.Nebraska,provides that upon recommendation
of the City Planning Board, the City Council may, by resolution or ordinance, vacate any street or
alley within such City without the filing of any petition therefor; however, for any street or alley
which shall be vacated, the Council shall appoint a committee of at least three members who shall
faithfully and impartially and, after reasonable notice to the owners and parties interested in the
property affected by such vacation,assess damages,if any,to such owners and parties affected;and,
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Omaha desires to change the member
composition of such committee.
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF OMAHA:
THAT, Franklin Thompson, Garry Gernandt, and Rich Pahls be, and hereby are,
appointed as members of the committee to assess damages,if any,to owners and parties affected by
the vacation of any street or alley within the City where such recommendation for vacation has been
made by the City Planning Board, no petition having been filed therefor; and that all previous
Council appointments to such committee are hereby terminated.
