The attached resolution approves the contract with Mark VII Enterprises for OPW 52460-SP,
being the Hanscom Park Pavilion and Pool located at 3201 Woolworth Avenue and the Hanscom
Park Tennis Center located at 3220 Ed Creighton Avenue ADA Improvements.
The following bids were received on July 31, 2013. A detailed bid tabulation is attached.
Contractor Total Bid
MARK VII ENTERPRISES $102,432.00 (LOW BIDDER)
Fauss Construction, Inc. $103,800.00
The contractor has a current Contract Compliance Report Form (CC-1) on file. As is City
policy, the Human Rights and Relations Department will review the contractor to ensure
compliance with the Contract Compliance Ordinance.
The Finance Department is authorized to pay the cost of OPW 52460-SP from the 2010 Public
Facilities Bond Fund 13245, Public Facilities Bond Organization 117515, year 2013
expenditures.
The Public Works Department recommends the acceptance of the hid from Mark VII Enterprises
in the amount of $102,432.00, being the lowest and best bid received, and requests your
consideration and approval of this resolution.

WHEREAS, bids were submitted on July 31, 2013 for OPW 52460-SP, being the
Hanscom Park Pavilion and Pool located at 3201 Woolworth Avenue and the Hanscom Park
Tennis Center located at 3220 Ed Creighton Avenue ADA improvements; and,
WHEREAS, Mark VII Enterprises submitted a bid of$102,432.00, being the lowest and
best bid received for OPW 52460-SP.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF OMAHA:
THAT, as recommended by the Mayor, the contract with Mark VII Enterprises for OPW
52460-SP, being the Hanscom Park Pavilion and Pool located at 3201 Woolworth Avenue and
the Hanscom Park Tennis Center located at 3220 Ed Creighton Avenue ADA improvements in
the amount of$102,432.00 is hereby approved; and, that the Finance Department is authorized to
