Transmitted herewith is a Bid Tabulation and Resolution awarding a purchase order to Abe's
Trash Service for collection services and equipment for Spring Clean-up 2014, for the city wide
neighborhood 2013 spring cleanup in the amount of$42,700.00.
The contractor has a current Contract Compliance Report Form (CC-1) on file. As is City
policy, the Human Rights and Relations Department will review the contractors to ensure
compliance with the Contract Compliance Ordinance.
The Finance Department is authorized to pay the cost of Spring Clean-up 2014 from the General
Fund 1 1 111, Solid Waste Disposal Organization 116321, year 2014 expenditures.
The Public Works Department requests your consideration and approval of the attached
Resolution.

WHEREAS, bids were received on March 5, 2014 for collection services and equipment
for Spring Clean-up 2014; and,
WHEREAS, Abe's Trash Service submitted a bid of $42,700.00 for collection services
and equipment for Spring Clean-up 2014.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF OMAHA:
THAT, as recommended by the Mayor, the Purchasing Agent be authorized to issue a
Purchase Order to Abe's Trash Service for collection services and equipment for Spring
Clean-up 2014 in the amount of$42,700.00; and, that the Finance Department is authorized to
pay this cost from the General Fund 11111, Solid Waste Disposal Organization 116321, year
2014 expenditures.
