The attached resolution approves the contract with McKinnis Roofing and Sheet Metal for OPW
52527-SP, being Omaha Public Safety Training Center administration building and pump house
roof replacement, located at 11616 Rainwood Road.
The following bids were received on February 26, 2014. A detailed bid tabulation is attached.

The contractor has a current Contract Compliance Report Form (CC-1) on file. As is City
policy, the Human Rights and Relations Department will review the contractor to ensure
compliance with the Contract Compliance Ordinance.
The Finance Department is authorized to pay the cost of OPW 52527-SP from the Contingent
Liability Fund 11114, General Government Organization 132022, year 2014 expenditures.
The Public Works Department recommends the acceptance of the bid from McKinnis Roofing
and Sheet Metal, being the lowest and best bid received, and requests your consideration and
approval of this resolution.

WHEREAS, bids were submitted on February 26, 2014 for OPW 52527-Se, being
Omaha Public Safety Training Center administration building and pump house roof replacemenk,
located at 11616 Rainwood Road; and,
WHEREAS, McKinnis Roofing and Sheet Metal submitted a bid of$191,208.00, being
the lowest and best bid received for OPW 52527-SP.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF OMAHA:
THAT, as recommended by the Mayor, the contract with McKinnis Roofing and Sheet
Metal for OPW 52527-SP, being Omaha Public Safety Training Center administration building
and pump house roof replacement, located at 11616 Rainwood Road in the amount of
$191,208.00 is hereby approved; and, that the Finance Department is authorized to pay this cost
