City of Omaha
Jean Stothert,Mayor
Honorable President
and Members of the City Council,
Attached for your consideration is a Resolution reappointing Deb Sander, Payroll Manager, to the
DOT.Comm Oversight Committee.
The DOT.Comm Interlocal Agreement that was approved by the City Council on May 1, 2012,
contemplated that the DOT.Comm Board would be dissolved and replaced by the DOT.Comm
Oversight Committee. That DOT.Comm Oversight Committee includes two City employee members
with staggered two-year terms who have "a demonstrated interest in and knowledge of information
technology and must be considered to be cognizant of and in alignment with the interests and needs of
the City's technology stakeholders." Ms. Sander has served two years as the City's representative on
the DOT.Comm Oversight Committee after having served as one of the City representatives on a task
force that was created that established the new direction for DOT.Comm. As a result, I would
recommend Deb Sander's appointment to serve an additional two-year term on the DOT.Comm
Oversight Committee.
Respectfully submitted:
