Trenton Magid has been very involved with almost every aspect of Southwestern Plaza,a 55-acre mixed-use
development between F and L Streets on 144th Street in Omaha. Starting with the developer's acquisition of the
property,Trenton has been in charge of marketing Southwestern Plaza's 23 lots that have been developed into several
office and office/flex buildings,a credit union,a 25,324 square foot shopping center,a convenience store,Goodwill
Industries retail location and the$4.5 million Mercedes Benz of Omaha. As the real estate broker and a member of the
board of directors for Sanitary and Improvement District 407,Trenton was involved in the zoning process, neighbor
relations, layout and design, and architectural review for Southwestern Plaza. World Group served as development
manager for the 55-acre project and construction manager for Southwestern Plaza Shopping Center. World Group
developed and manages Southwestern Plaza Office Building,a 15,186 square foot office building.
World Group is in charge of marketing and provides real estate and development services for the following Omaha,
Nebraska real estate developments:
Gateway 1-80 Business Park, located at 118th and Harrison Street,is a 53-acre development that includes office and
flex building projects. The property runs'/<of a mile along Interstate 80. Current and planned projects include build-to-
suits,owner-occupied buildings and investment properties. Gateway 1-80 Business Park is also home to the following
companies: BMW Motorcycles,Value Place extended-stay hotel, Lennox Industries, Beyond Repair, Fred's Heating&
Cooling,Elman&Company, Granite Transformations of Omaha,Heat&Frost Insulators Local 39, Chief Automotive
Systems, KEISS-KRAFT Dental Laboratories,Central Ice Machine Company,SL Jensen Construction, Renewal by

The Thomsen Mile is a 145-acre mixed-use development on the northwest corner of 1681h Street and West Maple Road

and 177'h Street along West Maple Road. Forty-five acres on the north are being developed into 155 single-family
and duplex homes. The approximately 30-acre commercial portion of The Thomsen Mile West includes Dillion
Brothers' Harley Davidson, a 38,000 sq.ft. state-of-the-art dealership at the northwest corner of 174th Street and
West Maple Road and an LDS church on three acres. Retail and office projects should occupy the remaining
parcels.

RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF OMAHA:
WHEREAS, Section 7.03 of the City Charter provides that there shall The seven
(7) members on the City Planning Board, six of whom must reside within City corporate limits,
and one of whom must reside outside the City corporate limits but within its zoniig jurisdiction;
and,
WHEREAS, the six City resident members are to be appointed by the Mayor and
confirmed by the City Council for five-year terms; and,
WHEREAS, Raymond J. Neary was appointed as a City resident member of the
Planning Board, and his term expires September 28, 2014; and,
WHEREAS, Mayor Stothert has nominated Trenton B. Magid to replace
Raymond J. Neary as a City resident member of the Planning Board to serve a five-year term
which will commence on September 29, 2014, and expire on September 28, 2019.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF OMAHA:
