The attached resolution approves the contract with Rife Construction, Inc. for OPW 52633-SP,
being Gallagher Park Pool ADA Improvements located at 2936 North 52nd Street.
The following bids were received on August 27, 2014. A detailed bid tabulation is attached.

RIFE CONSTRUCTION, INC. $ 69,298.00 (LOW BID)
Fauss Construction, Inc. $ 79,800.00 (SEB Non-Compliant Bid)
Mark VII Enterprises $115,000.00
The contractor has a current Contract Compliance Report Form (CC-1) on file. As is City
policy, the Human Rights and Relations Department will review the contractor to ensure
compliance with the Contract Compliance Ordinance.
The Finance Department is authorized to pay the cost of OPW 52633-SP from the 2010 Public
Facilities Bond Fund 13245, Public Facilities Bond Organization 117515, year 2014
expenditures.
The Public Works Department recommends the acceptance of the bid from Rife Construction,
Inc. in the amount of $69,298.00, being the lowest and best bid received, and requests your
consideration and approval of this resolution.

WHEREAS, Rife Construction, Inc. submitted a bid of$69,298.00, being the lowest and
best bid received for OPW 52633-SP.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF OMAHA:
THAT, as recommended by the Mayor, the contract with Rife Construction, Inc. for

Street in the amount of $69,298.00 is hereby approved; and, that the Finance Department is
