The attached Resolution approves the contract with Mark VII Enterprises for OPW 52713, being Fire
Station #21 Sleeping Quarters Renovations.
The following bids were received on November 19, 2014. A detailed bid tabulation is attached.

Elkhorn West Construction $348,500.00 (Non-compliant Bid)
Mark VII Enterprises $376,000.00 (RECOMMENDED BID)
Fauss Construction, Inc. $398,700.00
Midwest Construction Services $404,732.00
Brunow Contracting, Inc. $434,687.00
TIJ Construction, LLC. $561,000.00
The contractor has a current Contract Compliance Report Form (CC-1) on file. As is City policy, the
Human Rights and Relations Department will review the contractor to ensure compliance with the
Contract Compliance Ordinance.
The Finance Department is authorized to pay this cost from the 2010 Public Facilities Bond Fund 13245,
Fire Capital Organization 114512,year 2014 expenditures.
The Public Works Department recommends the acceptance of the bid from Mark VII Enterprises in the
amount of $376,000.00, being the lowest and best bid received, and requests your consideration and
approval of this Resolution.

RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF OMAHA:
WHEREAS, bids were submitted on November 19, 2014 for OPW 52713, being Fire
Station#21 Sleeping Quarters Renovations; and,
WHEREAS, Mark VII Enterprises submitted a bid of$376,000.00, being the lowest and
best bid received for OPW 52713.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF OMAHA:
THAT, as recommended by the Mayor, the contract with Mark VII Enterprises for OPW
52713, being Fire Station #21 Sleeping Quarters Renovations in the amount of $376,000.00 is
hereby approved; and, that the Finance Department is authorized to pay this cost from the 2010
Public Facilities Bond Fund 13245, Fire Capital Organization 114512, year 2014 expenditures.
