Transmitted herewith is a Resolution rescinding Resolution#268, which was adopted by City Council
on March 10, 2015. This Resolution approved a Change Order that was not necessary, in the amount
of$565,069.50 for 171 Motorola radios.
The original proposal that was accepted from Motorola Solutions, Inc., in the amount of
$3,400,000.00, for the Omaha Police Department mobile radio project was adopted by City Council
via Resolution#1257 on September 30, 2014.
Douglas County Purchasing will cancel this line from the Oracle Requisition #81213/Purchase Order
#1204696.

RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF OMAHA:
WHEREAS, the Omaha Police Department wishes to rescind Resolution #268, which
was adopted by City Council on March 10, 2015; and,
WHEREAS, the original proposal that was accepted from Motorola Solutions, Inc.,
in the amount of$3,400,000.00, for the Omaha Police Department mobile radio project was
adopted by City Council via Resolution#1257 on September 30, 2014; and,
WHEREAS, Resolution #268 approved a Change Order in the amount of
$565,069.50 for 171 Motorola radios; and,
WHEREAS, this Change Order was not necessary; and,
WHEREAS, Douglas County Purchasing will cancel this line from the Oracle
Requisition#81213/Purchase Order#1204696; and,
WHEREAS, the Mayor has recommended approval of this Resolution.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
OMAHA:
THAT as recommended by the Mayor, the request from the Omaha Police Department to
rescind Resolution #268 adopted by City Council on March 10, 2015, which approved a Change
Order that was not necessary, in the amount of$565,069.50 for 171 Motorola radios, is hereby
approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED;
THAT Douglas County Purchasing will cancel this line from the Oracle Requisition
#81213/Purchase Order#1204696.
