76. Ord. to approve and execute a contract involving the payment of money from
appropriations of more than one year in accordance with Section 5.17 of the
Home Rule Charter of the City of Omaha, 1956, as amended, by and between
the City of Omaha, a municipal corporation, and Blue Cross Blue Shield of
Nebraska to provide the administrative services for the City's self-insured dental
plan for a period of thirty-six months, commencing on January 1, 2004, and
ending December 31, 2006, in accordance with the lowest and best proposal
submitted by said Blue Cross Blue Shield Company; to authorize the Finance
Director to make payments to Blue Cross Blue Shield of Nebraska in accordance
with such contract; and to provide the effective date hereof- see attached.
