The attached resolution approves the contract with McKinnis Roofing and Sheet Metal, Inc. for
OPW 52691, being Old Shop Roof Replacement at the Missouri River Wastewater Treatment
Plant.
The following bids were received on April 15, 2015. A detailed bid tabulation is attached.
Contractor Total Bid
McKINNIS ROOFING AND SHEET METAL, INC. $137,450.00 (LOW BID)
APR Roofing, LLC dba Boone Brothers Roofing $198,000.00
Mark VII Enterprises $219,580.00
The contractor has a current Contract Compliance Report Form (CC-1) on file. As is City
policy, the Human Rights and Relations Department will review the contractor to ensure
compliance with the Contract Compliance Ordinance.
The Finance Department is authorized to pay the cost of OPW 52691 from the Sewer Revenue
Improvement 21124 Fund, Capital Asset Replacement Organization 116913, year 2015
expenditures.
The Public Works Department recommends the acceptance of the bid from McKinnis Roofing
and Sheet Metal, Inc., being the lowest and best bid received, and requests your consideration
and approval of this resolution.

RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF OMAHA:
WHEREAS, bids were submitted on April 15, 2015 for OPW 52691, being Old Shop
Roof Replacement at the Missouri River Wastewater Treatment Plant; and,
WHEREAS, McKinnis Roofing and Sheet Metal, Inc. submitted a bid of $137;450.00,
being the lowest and best bid received for OPW 52691.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF OMAHA:
THAT, as recommended by the Mayor, the contract with McKinnis Roofing and Sheet
Metal, Inc. for OPW 52691, being Old Shop Roof Replacement at the Missouri River
Wastewater Treatment Plant in the amount of $137,450.00 is hereby approved; and, that the
