Attached for your consideration is a Resolution appointing Brian K. Magee, Sr., to the
Landmarks Heritage Preservation Commission as the owner or operator of a business or property
within a landmark preservation district. Mr. Magee will succeed Eduardo Santamaria. Mr.
Magee's term will begin June 19, 2015, and expire June 18, 2018. Copies of his résumé and
response form are attached.

WHEREAS, there now exists a vacancy on the Landmarks Heritage Preservation
Commission; and,
WHEREAS, Section 24-27 of the Omaha Municipal Code provides.that members of
the Commission shall serve until their successors are appointed and qualified,as provided in Section
24-26 of the Omaha Municipal Code; and,
WHEREAS, Section 24-26 of the Omaha Municipal Code provides for the Mayor to
appoint the members of this Commission; and
WHEREAS, Mayor Jean Stothert desires to appoint Brian K. Magee, Sr., to the
Landmarks Heritage Preservation Commission as an owner or operator of a business or property
within a landmark preservation district; said term shall commence June 19,2015,and expire on June
18, 2018.
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
